Châteauroux, Le Berry, 11:33 am
Slowly, you awaken. In the best place. Soft and carefree blue.
Martine Denisot is the Parisian behind the exclusive perfume brand Pour Toujours. Six scent compositions coexist in the collection, which was launched in 2015. Graines (French for “seeds”) is a scent that’s, quite simply, about seeds. Powdery iris meets wood, which then bumps into a handful of carrot seeds. Go ahead. Split open the burlap sack and breathe it all in. Cacao, cardamom, barley… Sweet and earthy. C’est le paradis!
Canal Grande, Venice, 5:33 pm
Ready for an evening inspired by history. It’s not what you imagined. It’s better.
The French perfume house Histories de Parfums tells stories about famous characters, years, and pieces of music. The founder, Gérald Ghislain creates his library of fragrances by defying the rules and relying on inspiration. The fragrance 1725 was released in 2001 and takes inspiration from Giacomo Girolamo Casanova. Enchanted from the first second by an invisible force. Casanova succeeded at once, but 1725 might require a little more time.
