Marrakech, 1:23 pm
Endless crowds of people in Medina when suddenly, you see it. Designed just for you.
Chiara Ronzani is a charismatic northern Italian with a sharp pair of spectacles who also happens to be the founder of perfume house Extrait d'Atelier. Her latest creation from 2018, Maître Céramiste, casts you onto the dusty floor of a ceramics workshop. Sensual, but far from careful when the philosophy reads: ”...poems in drops of perfume, which will inspire their wearers the desire to identify…and breathe the alchemy of savoir-faire and savoir-vivre.”

Still going strong. You own the evening. Self-assured and sexy like few.
The London perfume house Miller Harris was founded in 2000 by Lyn Harris. Today, they play in the same league as some of the most successful niche perfume houses, composing scents on both the complex and more accessible side. Vetiver Insolent from 2016 was created by the nose of Mathieu Nardin, with vetiver playing the lead role. The wood-scented grass growing in India, among other places, is blended here with spicy cardamom, then rounded off with the sweet-soft aroma of tonka bean.
