What’s the difference between Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette?

The easy answer is concentration. What separates eau de parfum from eau de toilette is really how much perfume oil the fragrance contains. The rest - the majority of the fragrance - is usually alcohol and water. Fragrance concentrations are broken down into categories including parfum, eau de parfum, eau de toilette, eau de cologne, and eau fraiche. However, they are all perfumes, no matter the concentration.

Perfumes from major brands are often released under the same name, but in different concentrations. Smell them side by side and you can tell the difference. The diluted fragrance is often lighter, fresher and some notes come out singing.
Which one you choose is It’s simply a matter of taste - and in some cases, of budget.
